Overview

This article describes the issue when the Web Console is running slow and data is starting to have gaps. Sometimes, the site becomes unavailable.

Environment

NPM version 10.7

Cause

The Polling Engine has over 55,000 elements and SolarWinds Web Console was 352% utilization on one poller in polling details page in the Web Console.

Resolution

  1. Open Database Manager > Query Engines table > Check Element count.

Note: You can also open polling details in the Web Console to check this.

    2. Move nodes to additional poller or unmanage nodes.

The element should be at the correct threshold per the Scalability Guide.
