Overview

This article provides information when you want to take data from an old database and move it into a new or existing Orion Database.

Example: Take nodes table from one Database A and import or move it into Database B.

Environment

All versions of Orion products

Detail

Unfortunately, there is no supported way to do this as the tables are not built in such as way. We index various items in each database and while the ID's we use are unique to a specific database, they aren't unique to all databases which makes a Node in Database have a NodeID of 2 while a different Node in Database B already uses the same NodeID of 2.
