How to get to Network Discovery and Manage Nodes if you are not an Administrator

Overview

If an account does not have Orion administrator privileges, the Settings drop down is not displayed on the menu list. The Settings drop down includes the Node Discovery and Manage Nodes links. However, you can get to these pages without administrator privileges.

Environment

  • NPM 12 and later

Steps

If an account does not have Orion administrator rights, the Settings drop down is not available.

 

To get to Manage Nodes:

  1. Display a resource that lists nodes (for example, the All Nodes resource.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the resource, click Manage Nodes. 
    The Manage Nodes page opens.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Network Discovery.
