How to Run a SQL Query in Orion Database Manager on Windows Server 2008

Overview

This article provides information on how to run an SQL query in the Orion Database Manager when Orion is installed on Windows Server 2008.

Environment

  • Orion product(s)
  • Windows Server 2008

Steps

  1.  Remote Desktop (MSTSC)  to the Orion Server.
             
     
  2. Click Start and type Database.

     
  3. Right-click Database Manager and choose Run as Administrator.

     
  4. Click Add default server.
     
     
  5. Expand the Orion database.
  6. Right-click and enter New Query.

     
  7. Enter the SQL query you want to run. Example:

     
  8. Click Execute Query.
