Group status not displaying correctly

Overview

The Group status is not displaying the correct status even when the Group Status Rollup has been set correctly to Mixed, Best or Worst status.

Environment

NPM 10.6 and later

Cause 

This occurs when the data it references, in this case the ContainerMembersnapshots table, is out of date and needs to be refreshed.

Resolution

  1. Open the Database Manager application.
  2. Select Add Default Server.
  3. Expand the Database server and then the SolarWinds database.
  4. Right-click and query any table.
  5. Clear the existing 'Select Top * from ........'
  6. Enter Delete from ContainerMemberSnapshots.
  7. Execute the query.
  8. Test the group status in the web console after refreshing the page.
