Fixed Disk showing incorrect disk space information

Overview

This article describes the issue about fixed disk showing incorrect disk space information.

Environment

  • All versions of NPM 
  • All versions of SAM

Cause 

There is some cached data that seems to not allow the volume information to update. 

Resolution

First attempt to clean up the volume data for just the node by doing the below. 

  1. Go to the node in question, and List Resources.
  2. Uncheck the problem volumes then click submit.
  3. Run database maintenance from the Orion Server.
    1. Note this can impact performance.
  4. List resources again and re-check the volumes then click submit.

 

If issue is ongoing you need to do the below. 

  1. Go to Settings and click Manage Nodes.
  2. Find the problematic node, check it and click Delete.
  3. Click Add Node and add the node back in.
