Export and import alerts via the web interface

Overview

This article will explain how to export and import alerts.

Environment

All Orion components using the Orion core

Steps

  1. In the web interface, go to Settings/Manage Alerts.
  2. Put a check by the alert you want to export, click Export/Import and click the Export Alert button.
  3. Click the Export button, and save the file to a location reachable from the server that you want to import on.
  4. On the new server, go to Settings/Manage Alerts.
  5. Click Export/Import and click the Import Alert button.
  6. Navigate to the alert, and click Open.
