This article describes the issue when you get an error when trying to access settings.


NPM version 11.5.3


This issue occurs due to having a duplicate App_Web_xxxx file in temp ASP.Net folder.


  1. Open c:\windows\\framework\v4.0.30319\temporaryASP.Net Files\root\6faafa1c\92094bad.
  2. Locate the duplicate APP_Web file in the folder and delete it.
  3. Test the resource and see if it works.
