This article describes the issue when upgrading to NPM version 11.0, the Configuration Wizard displays the following error:

Error executing script: Invalid column FreeSpace

NPM version 11.0

This maybe due to some reason historical tables for datastores that were not created properly. The best course of action would be to drop those and let the Configuration Wizard recreate them.

  1. Run the following SQL query:
    DROP TABLE VIM_DatastoreStatistics_Detail
    DROP TABLE VIM_DatastoreStatistics_Hourly
    DROP TABLE VIM_DatastoreStatistics_Daily

  2. Run the Configuration wizard.

Note: Make sure a good database backup has already been done before making direct changes to the database.
