Overview

The Current Hardware Health resource is showing the following error:

 

Data has not been polled yet. Please wait for initial poll or do Poll Now manually to retrieve data.

Environment

Cause 

This is a known issue. The resource is set to Select automatically. Because we poll some hierarchy (APM_HardwareHierarchy) on these nodes, the third option - Sensors per device and category - is used. However, there is no match between the hierarchy (APM_HardwareHierarchy) and sensors (APM_HardwareItem) for all the polled sensors which causes this issue to occur.

Resolution

The following lists show data in the Current Hardware Health resource Display Style option:

  • Sensors per device and category (Select automatically)
  • Sensors per category
  • Flat sensor list

To change the way resource displays elements click on EDIT link located in top-right corner of resource and select Flat sensor list or Sensors per category as the Display Style option.
