Enable the Add Notes feature when acknowledging Alerts

Overview

When a user have been given rights to acknowledge an alert,  they will also by default be able to add a note when acknowledging the alerts. There is a checkbox at the bottom that explains that this feature can be re-enabled under Alert details.

 

Alternatively, the Administrator can make the Database change across all users. 

Environment

NPM 11.X and later

Steps

  1. In the All Active Alerts grid, go to the More menu and deselect Don't Prompt for alert notes.
  2. Open the Database Manager and execute the following query:
  3. Select TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[WebUserSettings]
  4. Where Settingname = 'ShowAcknowledgeAlertDialog'
  5. Enable Table Editing and change any of the AccountID SettingValue to True if you want them to add notes when they acknowledge alerts.
