Overview

This article provides steps on how to be alerted when a polling engine stops updating the database.

Environment

NPM version 11.0.x or earlier

SAM version 6.1.x or earlier

Steps

 

1. Log into the Orion polling engine.

2. Open Advanced Alert Manager.

3. Find the following alert:

Alert me when a polling engine has not updated the database in 10 minutes

4. Enable the alert by selecting the checkbox next to it.
