Overview

The SNMP service must be installed and enabled on the device before you can use poll the device for information using SNMP.

  • Any device polled by SNMP

Detail

View device manufacturer's documentation for information on installing and enabling SNMP on the device. Once configured use SNMP Walk tool from Orion server to verify if device can be reached over the network using SNMP and can provide information. You can use SNMP Walk tool included in Orion installation:
