Overview

This article provides information about the current cross-forest domain migration of all systems. Orion poller is on Domain A and needs to be moved to Domain B. Orion poller is also NTA DB and storage. Orion DB is on dedicated SQL server that will also be moving from Domain A to Domain B. SQL using Orion generated account to connect. There is a trust set up between Domain A and Domain B.

Environment

NPM version 11.x

Detail

Change the domain on the poller ensuring it can still connect to the SQL server. Make sure the system gets the same IP on Domain B, check for DNS entries and/or DHCP reservation for the IP it will be using to make sure no other system has that IP already assigned.
