Discover button does not work in Internet Explorer 11

Overview

The Discover button does not work when you set up a discovery.

Environment

  • NPM 11.0 and later
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 set to use the en-NZ (English - New Zealand) language.
    Note: This may apply to other settings aside from en-NZ.

Resolution

Change the language settings in IE 11:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab, and the click Add.
  3. Select en-US (English - United States) or en-AU (English - Australia).

As a workaround, use an alternative browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, which is not affected by this issue.
