Overview

This article provides brief information on the issue when the Node name does not change on rediscovery.

Environment

NPM version 11.5.x

Detail

NPM only updates the name of the first discovery.  Any rediscovery after that needs to be changed manually.

Some customers put in their own custom Node names, and are later overwritten during the rediscovery.
