Overview

This article describes two methods on how to determine the number of elements being monitored within Orion.

Environment

Orion Core versions 7.7 or later

Steps

Option 1

  1. Go to Start > Network Performance Monitor > System Manager.
  2. Click File > Polling Status.

For licensing purposes, the highest value among the Network Node Elements, Interface Elements, and Volume Elements is the number you want to refer to. For server sizing, add the Network Node Elements, Interface Elements, and Volume Elements values to determine how many total elements you are monitoring.

Option 2

  1. Go to Start > Network Performance Monitor > NetPerfMon.
  2. Log in as an administrator.
  3. Click Admin > License Details.

For licensing purposes, the highest value among the Nodes, Interfaces, and Volumes is the number you want to refer to. For server sizing, refer to the Network Elements value to determine how many total elements you are monitoring.
