Data in the Web Console view and the NOC view do not match

Overview

This article addresses incorrect or not updated data or values between the NOC view and your web console.

Environment

All Orion Platform versions

Cause

This can occur because of the following:

  • The refresh rate of your web console is not in sync with the affected NOC view.
  • The default refresh rate of the web console is five minutes while the NOC view is 15 seconds.

Resolution

Synchronize the refresh rate of the web console and the NOC view page. 

Web console 

  1. Go to Settings > All settings > Product specific settings > Web console settings.
  2. Change the Page refresh rate to be the same as the NOC view refresh rate. 
  3. Click Submit.

NOC view

  1. Go to Settings > All settings > Views > created NOC views.
  2. Select the affected view and click Edit.
  3. Select the rotate tab option and change it to be the same refresh rate as your web console refresh rate.
