Custom report is not showing in Orion Web Console

Overview

This article describes the issue when you view a customize Inventory report on the Web Console and you receive the following error: 

General report datasource

Report resource failed to properly initialize

Environment

  • NPM version 11.x

Resolution

  1. RDP to Orion server.
  2. Open Report Writer > click New > select Inventory.
  3. In General Tab, click Make this Report available from the Orion website.
  4. In Select Field tab, enter the Node Name, IP address, Status, Platform, Environment, Machine Type.
  5. Execute Query by doing in Orion report writer.

Check in Orion Web Console if it is now working fine.
