Overview

You have custom bandwidth setup on the interface and wanted to get alerted on 95% utilization . 

Environment

NPM 11.0.1 and below

Detail

Configure the Transmit and Received alert and set the value manually assuming that you have 95% utilization from your ISP provider.

Select > Interface > Current Traffic >

Xmit bps

Recv bps

 

Use the below variable under Alert Actions Email:

Alert Variables

Node IP Address: ${Node.IP_Address}

Node Name: ${NodeName}

Interface Name: ${FullName}

Inbps (Receive) Traffic: ${Inbps as Bandwidth}

Outbps (xmit) Traffic: ${Outbps as Bandwidth}

In bps as Bytes: ${Inbps as Bytes}

Out bps  as Bytes: ${Outbps as Bytes}

In bps: ${Inbps}

Out bps: ${Outbps}
