Create custom SQL alerts from the Web Console

Overview

This article explains how to create a custom SQL alert in the latest version of NPM using Web alerts.

Environment

  • NPM 11.5 x & above

Steps

 

  1. Log into the Solarwinds Web Console
  2. Click Settings > Manage Alerts.
  3. Click Add New Alert.
  4. Fill in the Alert Properties such as Name, Frequency  and click Next..
  5. In the I want to alert on trigger condition field, select Custom SQL Alert (Advanced).


 

  1. Type or Paste in your Query
  2. Continue to Finish configuring your alert.


Note: The Advanced Alert Manager is still available in the latest version of Orion in Computer > OS(C:) > ProgramFiles(x86) > Solarwinds > Orion.
