Create basic report for Interface Usage in NPM

Overview

This article provides brief information and steps to create a basic report on interface usage in NPM version 11.5.2. 

Environment

NPM version 11.5+

Steps

1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.

2. Go to Manage Reports.

3. Click Create New Report. 

4. Enter a new name for your report and a brief description. 

5. Enter the content of your report, and select Custom Table. 

6. Select objects you are going to report on.

Notes: 

  • In the Advanced selector, Dynamic Query Builder must be selected. 
  • I want to report on Interface must be selected.
  • The Interface name is the name of the Interface, or Interface ID. The Interface ID can be found in the URL on the Web Console  when you navigate to the Interface Details page. 

7. Click Add. 

8. Click Edit Table, and then add a column.

Notes:

  • Include the information on the Interface that you want to reflect on your report. 
  • The Average bps (transmitted and received) or Average Percent Utilization.

9. Click Preview to confirm the details you need have been added. 

9. Click Submit.
