Overview

This article provides steps to create Resource to show Cisco Chassis and Module information.

Environment

NPM version 11.x

Steps

Create a Poller for collecting serial numbers off of Cisco devices:

OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.19

  1. Open the Orion Universal Device Poller.
  2. Click New Universal Device Poller.
  3. On the OID window enter 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.19

  1. Click Next.
  2. Select Cisco box.

  1. Click Test, and then Finish

 

Select where you want to display the information:

Example: Chart / Node Details, and then Finish.

OID 1.3.6.1

  1. Open the Orion Universal Device Poller.
  2. Click New Universal Device Poller.
  3. On the OID window enter 1.3.6.1.
