Configuration wizard in repair mode

This article details to run the Configuration wizard in repair mode.


In Orion Platform products with Orion Platform 2017.1 and later (such as NPM 12.1 or SAM 6.4), the Configuration wizard runs automatically run in the repair mode so there is no need to run it using the command below.


  • NPM 12.0.1 and earlier
  • Server and Application Monitor 6.3 and earlier
  • Orion Core 2016.2 and earlier


  1. Open CMD.
  2. Enter the following command:
    • "C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\ConfigurationWizard.exe" /repairpackages
  3. Press Enter. The Configuration wizard opens.
  4. Select all the Options (Database / Website / Services).
  5. Complete the Configuration wizard using the default options (Yes / Next).
