This article provides information on the first thing to remember when troubleshooting APE (Additional Polling Engine).

All Orion Core Products

The Primary Polling Engine and Additional Polling Engine should have the same modules installed. In order to make sure of that you need to do the following:

1. Open Programs and Features on both Primary Polling Engine and Additional Polling Engine.

  • Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  • Search > Programs and Features

2. Make a comparison and uninstall any excess module from the Additional Polling Engine.

3. Module versions installed should match on both.

Note: If the module on the additional polling engine is a later version, upgrade the module on the primary polling engine for both to match.
