Check the LastBootUpTime WMI on the target server

This article describes how to check the LastBootUpTime WMI on the target server using Windows Powershell or the WBEMTest tool.


All NPM versions on a Windows Server


Windows PowerShell

  1. Establish a remote connection to the server.
  2. Open the Windows PowerShell program as an administrator.
  3. Edit the following script, and then click Enter:
    $Booted = (Get-WmiObject Win32_OperatingSystem).LastBootUpTime


  1. Establish a remote connection to the server, and then open the WBEMTest tool.
  2. Click Connect... > Connect > Query... 
  3. Enter the following query: 
    SELECT LastBootUpTime FROM Win32_OperatingSystem
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Double-click the object query result.
  6. Scroll down to search the LastBootUpTime item.
