Overview

This article describes how to change the routing polling interval for all nodes and the routing polling per node.

Environment

NPM v10.7 and later

Steps

For all nodes:

  1. Open the Database Manager.
  2. Run the following query:
Note: Replace <minutes> with your desired polling interval. The value can range from 1 to 100080.
    UPDATE Settings
    SET CurrentValue=<minutes>
    WHERE SettingID='NPM_Settings_Routing_RouteTable_PollInterval'

For a single node:

  1. Replace <NodeID> with requested NodeID and <minutes> with poll interval.
  2. Check the settings:
    SELECT *
    FROM NodeSettings
    WHERE SettingName='NPM.RoutingTablePollInterval' AND NodeID=<NodeID>
  3. You will need to do only one of these following options:
    • If the setting does not exist for a specific NodeID:
INSERT INTO NodeSettings (NodeID, SettingName, SettingValue)
      VALUES (<NodeID>, 'NPM.RoutingTablePollInterval', <minutes>)
    • In case the setting exist for a specific NodeID and you want to change the poll interval:
      UPDATE NodeSettings
      SET SettingValue=<minutes>
      WHERE SettingName='NPM.RoutingTablePollInterval' AND NodeID=<NodeID>
