Change WMI accounts in NPM

This article describes how to change the credentials that NPM uses for WMI connections.


NPM 11.5 and later


  1. On the Orion Web Console, go to Settings > Credentials tab > Manage Windows Credentials.
  2. Locate the credential that needs to be changed.
  3. Select the account and click Edit Credential icon.
  4. Edit credential.
  5. Go to one of the nodes that uses the credential and confirm that it is polling correctly by clicking Poll Now and checking that the data is being updated.
