Table of contents

Updated May 22, 2017

Overview

This article describes how to change the memory polling to TMM level. By default, F5 Big IP devices use the default native polling engine N.Memory.SNMP.F5BigIpDashboard.

Environment

  • All NPM versions
  • F5 Big-IP devices

Steps

  1. Open the Orion Poller Checker Tool (C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\PollerCheckerTool.exe).
  2. Detect the polling engines for the F5 device (memory).
  3. Change N.Memory.SNMP.F5BigIpDashboard to N.Memory.SNMp.F5BigIpSystemTmm.
  4. Verify that the TMM level memory information displayed in the vital statistics is now correct.
