Change the SMTP server on Alert Actions in bulk

This article describes how to edit the SMTP server on your Alert Actions in bulk when not using the default SMTP server.


Orion 2015 and later


  1. Log in to the Web Console using an administrator account.
  2. Click Settings > Manage Alerts > Manage Action tab.
  3. Change the Group by to Send and Email/Page.
  4. Select the actions to be changed, and then click Edit Action.
  5. Expand SMTP Server.
  6. Select the Name SMTP Server check box.
  7. Enter the new SMTP server data.
  8. Save the changes.
