Can NPM track accuracy of traps

This article provides brief information on NPM tracking and accuracy of SNMP Traps arriving.

NPM does not check or track the accuracy of the traps structure.

You can configure the device sending the traps to send information to NPM which will in turn store the traps and will allow you to search them through the console.

It is recommended to place a filter so NPM will drop the traps coming from the device if it is sending corrupted traps. Alternatively, if specific information of the trap can be searched, it can be filter accordingly against it.
