Blank pages display in the Orion Web Console

Overview

If you installed the Orion Platform on Windows Server 2008 R2, some pages in the web console may be blank in Internet Explorer.

Environment

  • Orion Platform 2016.1.0
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Internet Explorer

Cause

In Windows Server 2008 R2, handler mapping did not work correctly with extensionless URLs.

Resolution

You can work around this issue by using a different web browser, like Chrome or Firefox.

You can fix this issue by installing this update from Microsoft, or by upgrading to Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows Server 2008 R2.
