Overview

Automate or Schedule the restart of Orion services using a script.

Environment

All NPM versions

Detail

There are some instances that an administrator would rather automate the restart of Orion services. As an example, if they want to schedule this task to make sure that their Orion server is in good health. This might not be appropriate for some users since they can also set alerts for this job or they can manually run the Orion Service Manager.

An alternative way to automate the restart the Orion services is through the use of a script (in a .bat file).

For more information, see this Thwack post.

This can be scheduled using Windows Task Scheduler or Global Policy.
