Overview

The user receives continual emails or notifications for an alert that they configured.

 

Environment

  • NPM 11 or Higher

 

Cause 

Alert suppressions are not set appropriately.

Resolution

Check the following settings in the Alert configuration:  

  • Verify that "Do not execute this action if the alert has been acknowledged already (Recommended)" is selected. When this setting is selected, you will not continue to receive notifications after the alert has been acknowledged.
  • Consider increasing the time specified for "Repeat this action every X minutes until the alert is acknowledged".
