WebinarUpcoming Webinar: Know What’s Changed – with NEW Server Configuration Monitor

Change management in IT is critical. But, even with a good change management process, changes are too often not correctly tracked, if at all. The configuration of your servers and applications is a key factor in their performance, availability, and security. Many incidents can be tracked back to an authorized (and sometimes unauthorized) configuration change, whether to a system file, configuration file, or Windows® Registry entry. Join SolarWinds VP of product management Brandon Shopp to discover how the new SolarWinds® Server Configuration Monitor is designed to help you.

Overview

The resource 'All alerts this object can trigger' may cause some confusion. This resource is by default on the Node details page.

Environment

  • NPM 11.5.3
  • NPM 12.0
  • NPM 12.1
  • NPM 12.2

Detail

As this resource is by default included on the Node details page some users may expect all alerts on the node to display in the resource including interface and volume alerts but this is not the case.

Only Node alerts will be shown in this resource, if the resource is added to the Interface or Volume details page then the Interface or volume alerts will display in the respective.

If the resource is added to the Volume details page the above alert shows in the resource.
