Alert variables missing in trigger conditions in Alert Manager

The Alert Trigger Variables are not available in the Advanced Alert Manager when you are attempting to set up the trigger conditions. Instead, something like the following appears:
     @{R-NPM, Strings; K=NPMCWLIBCODE_TM_30;e=xml}


NPM 11.0.1 and earlier


This issue is generally due to the permissions.

To resolve this please right-click the Advanced Alert Manager and click Run As Administrator.

If this does not help, then we recommend upgrading to NPM 11.5.3 or higher which will move the Alerting Configuration to the Web.
