Alert suppression on excluded alerts do not work

This article describes an issue where excluded volumes from a node based on the geographic location custom property are still triggering alerts.


NPM 11.5


To resolve this issue, use the Volume Name instead of the Volume ID to filter the excluded volumes.
Do the following steps if the above resolution does not work:

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Go to Alerts > Manage Alerts.
  3. Search for the alert in question.
  4. Click the green ON button to turn off and turn on the alert.
