Additional web server is down due to a licensing error

The following error message is displayed and the additional web server status is showing as Down:

Error: There was an error retrieving licensing details from the Orion server License is expired or not available.


All NPM versions


There is a network issue that is blocking port 17777.


  1. Log in to the additional web server.
  2. Open a Telnet session to the main Orion polling engine on port 17777.
  3. If the Telnet connection cannot be established, check the firewalls, anti-virus software, and network rules.
