Overview

This article provides information on adding an F5 device between the nodes and the NPM server for load balancing.

Environment

All NPM versions

Detail

Adding an F5 device works if there is nothing blocking or denying the communication/data between the polling servers (main and additional) and the nodes.

The required ports of the polling server should also be available or open on the firewall and the F5 device.

This means that nodes should be able to communicate to the polling server.
