WebinarUpcoming Webinar: Know What’s Changed – with NEW Server Configuration Monitor

Change management in IT is critical. But, even with a good change management process, changes are too often not correctly tracked, if at all. The configuration of your servers and applications is a key factor in their performance, availability, and security. Many incidents can be tracked back to an authorized (and sometimes unauthorized) configuration change, whether to a system file, configuration file, or Windows® Registry entry. Join SolarWinds VP of product management Brandon Shopp to discover how the new SolarWinds® Server Configuration Monitor is designed to help you.

APC Universal Device Poller for upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining does not display in Radial Gauge

Updated August 11, 2016

Overview

The APC Universal Device Poller for upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining does not display in the Radial Gauge resource.

Environment

All NPM versions

Cause

Gauge resources are intended for numerical values - such as, 0-100. It cannot display time values so it does not know where to put, for example 4:30 on the numerical scale. It would work if you would remove the 'Time Ticks' format (set to None) to get raw numerical values, but the data will no longer make sense.

Resolution

  1. Select Customize Page .
  2. Search for "Universal Device Poller Status" resource.
  3. Submit the changes.
