Working deployment breaks: Local server directory for configs set to 3rd party server location

Issue:

In NCM 6.0 you could set the local config directory to a 3rd party storage server location. In upgrading to NCM 7.0, however, this setup breaks features that rely on configuration storage path.

Solution:

Only the local NCM server or additional polling server are valid targets for config storage in NCM 7.0. However, as a workaround, you could set all NCM machines to run Solarwinds Information Service (v2) under an account that has access to the non-local network share.
