Overview

By default, NCM is designed to save downloaded configs to both the SQL server in the NCM_ConfigArchive table and a Config Archive folder on the NCM server or Additional Polling Engine where the device is assigned to.

Environment

NCM 7.3.x and later

Detail

By default, the path to local Config Archive on the server is C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\NCM\Config-Archive. However, this path is customizable.

To determine the path:

  1. Log into the Orion Web Console
  2. Go to Settings >NCM settings > Configs

The local Config Archive location will be at the bottom of the page, just above the Submit button.
