Overview

This article describes the issue where NCM fails to receive emails after configuration backup jobs.

Environment

NCM, all supported versions

Cause 

This issue occurs when there's an incorrect SMTP Server that has been added while creating jobs or option Only email result if job encounters an error during execution was checked during job setup setup. 

Resolution

  1. Edit the Job.
  2. Verify if the SMTP server is correct.
  3. Make sure option Only email result if job encounters an error during execution is not checked
