The following error is received in the NCM resources:
Unable to connect to polling engine <hostname> on the relevant server. Verify that NCM <version> or later is installed on the server.
NCM 7.2 and later
Verify the version of NCM on the primary server matches all pollers.
The Poller will check the primary and if the version on the poller does not match, it will throw the message with the version on the poller indicating it does not match the version on the Primary.
so First step is to sure all versions match and if not, install the same version on all pollers.
If not, then you can follow these steps to rule out permission issues or otherwise previously problematic issues during the install.
