The SWOrionNCMCachingService.exe process is utilizing high cpu after upgrade, migration, or restarting the Orion services.

NCM 7.0 through 7.3.2

You have just restarted the Orion services, therefore, SWOrionNCMCachingService.exe has to compile graphs and reports for NCM devices on each of them, which eats up CPU space.

This is normal behavior after restarting the Orion Services depending on the amount of device configs stored under the database for each device .

SWOrionNCMCachingService.exe has to compile graphs and reports for NCM devices on each of them. Once the baseline finishes, the CPU utilization will go back to normal.
