Overview

Run a command on schedule and generate a report with the results.

Environment

  • NCM 7.4
  • NCM 7.4.1

Steps

  1. On the Web Console, hover the mouse over NCM and select Jobs.
  2. Create a new job.
  3. When prompted for the job type, click the drop-down menu and select "Execute Command Script on Devices."
  4. Click Next.
  5. Select the nodes where the show run interface g0/0 should apply, and then click Next.
  6. In the Enter Notifications Details tab, select Save job log, and select Email results.
  7. In the Add Job Specific Details tab, paste the command you want to run. For example: 
    show run interface g0/0 (or whatever command you want to run adhoc)
