Overview

This article provides the device template for Checkpoint Firewalls platform to be used with NCM. 

Environment

  • Device: Checkpoint Firewalls (1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.3.2.10)
  • All NCM versions

Steps

  1. Depending on the version of NCM you are using, follow the relevant steps to add a template. For instructions, refer to the NCM Administrator Guide.
  2. Use the following lines as the actual content of the template:

    <commands>
        <Command Name="MENUBASED" Value="false" />
        <Command Name="EnableCommand" Value="expert"/>
        <Command Name="DownloadConfigIndirectSCP" value="set idle 180 ${CRLF} snapshot -f%${StorageFilename} ${CRLF} scp -i/home/admin/id_172204111_kiwiscp_openssh_npp.pub /var/CPsnapshot/snapshots/${StorageFilename} ${SCPServerUserName}@${SCPStorageAddress}:./Snapshots ${CRLF}${SCPServerPassword}${CRLF} rm /var/CPsnapshot/snapshots/${StorageFilename}${CRLF}"/>
        <Command Name="Version" Value="ver"/>
