NCM is sending emails to incorrect or changed email addresses

Overview

Users are receiving emails directed to incorrect email addresses or addresses that have been changed.

Environment

All NCM versions

Cause 

The emails are being cached in the Job engine and collector SDF files.

Resolution

  1. Stop Orion services.
  2. Go to the installers folder for each polling engine (c:\programdata\solarwinds\installers).
  3. Right-click CollectorInstaller.msi and select Uninstall.
  4. When completed, right-click again and select Install.
  5. Right-click JobEngine.v2.msi and select Uninstall.
  6. When completed, right-click again and select Install. Follow the steps in the Installation Wizard.
  7. Restart Orion services.
