Overview

This article provides brief information on the following error:

NCM Database migration failed.

Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown 

Environment

NCM 7.2 or later

Cause 

The issue is caused by large DB size and ConfigArchive table stored the device configs for more then 30 days for many devices.

Manually remove device configs from the Config Archive tables and then shrink the DB worked.
