Overview

NCM device configuration transfer stuck in initializing for all devices.

 

 

Environment

NCM version 7.3 and earlier

 

Cause 

The issue is caused when you have selected very high retention settings for the DB and 

Database reached up to 140 GB and causing the issue with application intermittently downloading the configs .

Resolution

Please follow the steps mentioned in the guide  in order to reduce the DB size by taking out the unnecessary load from the DB:

After completing the steps, upgrade Orion and NCM modules to the latest version and this behavior will automatically be addressed.
